We are looking for a new enthusiastic colleague to join our growing team in the position of Technical Interface Expert, Latvia.

Job summary

The primary responsibility of Technical Interface Expert will be to ensure the correct implementation of the Interface Management Process of Rail Baltica, thus participating in the whole lifecycle of technical interfaces and leading and monitoring all activities and deliverables related with the technical interfaces linked to the Rail Baltica project, from conception up until commissioning phases, either belonging to the railway infrastructure (between elements as civil works, tracks, electrification (ENE) and control, command and signalling (CCS) systems, stations, etc) or to external stakeholders (public and private owners, utility networks, other infrastructure networks, etc).

We will entrust you to

• Ensure the correct implementation of the Interface Management Process
• Follow-up of the lifecycle of the interface requirements during the implementation of Rail Baltica project
• Develop and maintain technical interface register, matrix and related interfaces documentation
• Lead technical group to issue technical conditions on projects outside the Rail Baltica Global Project (RBGP)
• Coordinate the technical review of Detailed Technical Design according to Technical Division process in place
• Contribute to Programs and Projects Preparation, Implementation, and Finalization activities ensuring identification of right scope of interface requirements in every project, implementation, and compliance status
• Contribute to System Integration to confirm the validation of interface requirements

To succeed, you should have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical (preferable) or Civil Engineering, with Railway or Road Engineering specialisation.
• Experience in interface management in transport system, energy, or telecommunication infrastructure projects.
• Fluent in English and Latvian languages, and a good command of technical English.
• Proficient in the MS Office Suite, experience in system engineering and requirements management is a plus.
• Well-developed communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with both the business partners and internal technical team members.
• Outstanding organizational abilities and technical mindset.
